I'd never dared approach a personal trainer before but Alex was so friendly and made my introduction into the world of fitness a dream! Within a few months I noticed visible muscle definition in my arms, and now a year on my whole body has become so much stronger- my stamina has improved dramatically, I can do many exercises (I once found super hard) with relative ease and my troublesome knees no longer niggle. Each session is a joy and no matter how tired or grumpy I am in the mornings I come out feeling energised, positive and ready to take on whatever challenges the day throws at me!

It's great working out with Alex in her fab pod. She tailors each session specifically for me, bearing in mind my age (60+) and what I told her at my free consultation/taster session I want to achieve (maintain and improve my fitness level, stamina and weight, and also fight against flab in upper arms, thighs, tummy). The sessions are challenging but fun and always different, using all manner of equipment like the bike, treadmill, TRX, Swiss ball, boxing gloves, kettle bells, etc.I would certainly recommend Alex for anybody who wants to get or keep fit and healthy as she's knowledgeable and professional, friendly and always adapts the session to how you feel that day. The fact that Alex's "gym" is very local is an added bonus and incentive.

When I first started with Alex over one year ago, I didn't believe that I'd never like TRX training and also be good at it, I was not motivated in exercising any more... Now, one year later, I'm able to do most complex exercise, my core strength is enormous and I love exercising again. Thanks for Alex's positive and supportive attitude. She's very good and knowledgeable, always bringing some new exercise so you won't become bored.

What I like best about Alex is the variety and flexibility of the sessions; she encourages me to push myself out of my comfort zone with more challenging workouts, but can also quickly recognise when my energy levels are low and I need a more gentle approach.

It has been an absolute joy training with Alex. She is so encouraging and positive and makes every training session interesting. Each session was well thought out and included the right amount of challenge for my level, Alex would also adapt the session as we went along if needed on the day. The training studio in the garden is lovely, well-equipped and immaculate. Alex wrote an exercise programme tailored to my needs, which I could do at home without any equipment, which is brilliant. I'm over the moon that after 10 sessions I've lost weight (not so easy as a woman in my late 40s), as well as an inch off my waist and hips and more off my thighs! I have more energy and feel good too! If I weren't leaving the UK I'd definitely carry on training with Alex, she's an inspiration and an excellent trainer! I'm recommending her to everyone I know!
